I’m a new user. my site is on pending nameserver update and I’m confused about what I’m supposed to do at this point. I’ve updated the DNS record stuff is there anything I should do now?? please help!!

Not because it is new, neither domain is registered. When did you register it and which one?
the second one (ayeshastclare.com) I registered it earlier today via carrd. I’ve done this once before through carrd a few months ago but i don’t remember how haha. on carrd it says it’s initialising and on Cloudflare it says the nameservers are pending an update. I don’t know how to update the nameservers, and all the instructions are just confusing me…
The nameservers are pending because the domain is not registered.
Can you post a full page screenshot of your registrar where you set the nameservers?
But in short, as long as the domain does not have the correct nameservers set (for which of course it needs to be registered), it won’t validate on Cloudflare. Best to contact your registrar and discuss why your domain is not yet registered.
