Nameserver not updating due to accidental removal of Website

What is the name of the domain?

bosems.org

What is the issue you’re encountering

After the accidental deletion of the website registration, I’m unable to manage the NS configuration of the Cloudflare registered domain.

Registrar issues requre a Registrar ticket with Support

In what area can we help you?

I don’t know

Additional info: Tried updating the NS through Domain Registration > Manage Domains > Manage, but clicking “Manage” only results in the page being reloaded. Issue seems simmilar to the one described here.

You’ll need to raise a Cloudflare Registrar support ticket here…
https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support
…and ask for the nameservers for your domain to be updated.

As mentioned, the ticket has been raised (included in the opening post). Alas, after about 4 days no response has been given to the ticket.

Yes, sorry, read too fast. Did you raise it as a Registrar ticket (instead of Account)? Usually the Registrar team seem to deal with these quite quickly.

No problem. I did indeed, but described the fact that the page was reloading, rather than the NS update, as the main point, although mentioning both (bit of a mistaken point of cause and effect on my end).

You can always update the ticket with the specific information.

Out of interest, how did you delete the domain? Just using the “Remove site from Cloudflare” button? It shouldn’t be possible to delete a domain that’s using Cloudflare Registrar using the dashboard for the reason you’ve found (although it seems a number of people have managed to do so).

I didn’t, that’s the frustrating part. The Website/dns registration got deleted, I think in the problems around the service disruption of July 5th.

Ah ok, Cloudflare’s accidential removal, not yours.

Hopefully a passing staff member will see your ticket number and can give it a push.

It looks like this domain was first registered 2024-06-28 and is currently active.

Are you logged in to the account that you initially registered the domain? Are you still experiencing the issue?
