i had a critial error on my site yesterday. long stoy short i need to backdate my website. I askedm ny hosting company to help me with that and they say they cant because “When I checked the account I could see that the A record of the domain collectivevision.ca is pointing to Cloudflare and not Bluehost. Please note that if the A record is not with Bluehost then we wont be able to get access for the website and resolve the issue | to resolve this please kindly contact Cloudflare and then they will get the access for website and resolve this. If you want you can change the Name servers or A record to Bluehost otherwise you can contact Cloudflare and inform the website issue and they will help to resolve.” Please help! I have np idea how to do this.

Cloudflare can’t fix your website issue as your site is hosted on Bluehost, Cloudflare is a proxy sitting between users and your Bluehost hosting. The Bluehost support either doesn’t get this or is just passing the buck.

The simplest thing for you to do is pause Cloudflare as here…

…then Bluehost will see their IP addresses being used and should get on and do what you want. Once it is working you can unpause Cloudflare.
