It’s not an error I want to connect my domain to my wordpress nameservers, do I need to pay for business or is there a way I can go about it without paying the business plan?

Domains using Cloudflare registrar cannot change nameservers, even if you pay for a business plan. The custom nameservers available on a business plan are still Cloudflare nameservers. They just have vanity names that you assign to them.
