Namecheap cheaper than Cloudflare Registrar for .io renewal!

I was trying to transfer a couple of .io domains from a seller, and Cloudflare quoted a price of $45 for an additional year beyond the domains’ current expiry, while Namecheap quoted ~$32. Looking around, it seems that there are even better/cheaper options [1].

Why is Cloudflare’s .io expensive, even though it promises wholesale prices and should be cheaper, or at least same price as other registrars?

That has been discussed several times already, please use the search.

Actually, Dynadot is cheaper than Namecheap.
