Name Server Updates Taking More Than Expected

We’re having some issues with the name server updates for the last couple of hours.
Still in pending. Normally it was completed in couple of minutes.
We’re struggling for couple of hours. Directnic, Godaddy, etc… All the same.
For the test we’ve just bought a brand new domain and set name servers to our cloudflare name servers but nothing. Still shown as pending.
And sometimes we’re getting 1001 error which indicates cloudflare having issues distributing name server info accross it’s pops.

Anyone having these issues?

Name Server changes can take up to 48 hours. If you’d like more specific help, please post the domain name.

Where is this documented?

I see 1 pending zone. It has a nameserver pair assigned. That nameserver pair is not what is set at the registrar. There are no ‘our Cloudflare nameservers’ FWIW… while you may generally get the same pair they arent’ unique per account and can change for a number of potential reasons.

I already sent an email to enterprise support. And better not disclosure domain name here.
And 1001 error’s explanation written in the screen itself.

Error 1001
Dns resolution error

What happened?
You’ve requested a page on website (somewebsite.com) that is on the cloudflare network

bla bla bla

There are two potential causes of this:

  • Most likely: if the owner just signed up for Cloudflare it can take a few minutes for the website’s information to be distributed to our global network.

  • Less likely: something is wrong with this site’s configuration. Usually this happens when accounts have been signed up with partner organization (e.g. a hosting provider) and the provider’s DNS fails.

Ok guys now cloudflarestatus.com is updated, it’s official.
