MyQ Bot Protection

Looking for information on accessing [partner-identity.myq-cloud.com/connect/authorize](https://partner-identity.myq-cloud.com/connect/authorize) from our smart home systems?

This is the current result:

I got an error when visiting [partner-identity.myq-cloud.com/connect/authorize](https://partner-identity.myq-cloud.com/connect/authorize)

Error code: 1020
Ray ID: 81d77a585aba20a8
Country: US
Data center: iad11
IP: 2601:98a:4200:7e00:bc6a:ce9d:434:635d
Timestamp: 2023-10-29 00:59:47 UTC

Can we authorize access to the API for our smart home systems? We have MyQ devices installed and working for years and now this is in front.

Thank you in advance for any support.

Website owners can literally do what they want to do with their websites, that’s beyond the control of Cloudflare, even when the website owner choose to use Cloudflare.

Contact the website owner, and at the bare minimum, include the Ray ID you see on the error page, and they will be able to dig deeper in to the situation with you.

That is what I expected, but so far no help from the owner. I just wanted to cast as wide a net as I could to solve for this.

I enjoy the documentation showing that this error is deprecated

Error 1020: Access denied

Common cause

A client or browser is blocked by a Cloudflare customer’s Firewall Rules (deprecated).

If you are not the website owner, provide the website owner with a screenshot of the 1020 error message you received.

Firewall Rules are deprecated, not the error in general. Firewall Rules have been replaced by WAF Custom Rules.

The documentation has “Firewall Rules” listed as a common cause, not as the only cause, but WAF Rules should probably still be mentioned there.
