Hi @fostertown, did you change your nameservers with your domain registrar recently? If you changed them with your hosting provider, you need to change with your registrar.

Beyond that, this tip speaks to some of the troubleshooting steps to take when you see the error DNS PROBE FINISHED NXDOMAIN. the error means a domain cannot be resolved because of

  • an issue with the DNS servers
  • the domain name is newly registered, or
  • the domain is not yet registered at all.

First verify the domain is pointed to Cloudflare name servers. If not, contact your domain registrar and ask that they point the domain to your Cloudflare nameservers and wait an appropriate amount of time for DNS propagation to take effect.

If you’re still seeing issues after name server propagation takes effect, review other successful troubleshooting suggestions in this Community Tip. Let us know if you continue to see issues after trying these tips.

yeah they’ve been set to Cloudflares DNS for a few weeks now (and working until this morning)
heres the whois snapshot

and my cloudflare acc:

Your domain is now on ClientHold, so it’s not going to resolve. You’ll have to contact your Registrar.

thank you @sdayman for this info and helping me out! I’ve been on calls with my registrar for hours now, first they told me nothing is wrong and now they’re saying its nothing they did… they seem completely unreliable I wouldn’t recommend web.com (repurchaser thru tucows) as a registrar to anyone!
