My website stopped working after changing the name servers to Cloudflare.

I cannot access an admin panels, files or urls. Did I misconfigure something?

Using Developer tools, the error in the Network tab under Transferred is ns_error_unknown_host

Have you configured all the appropriate DNS records in Cloudflare?

Hi. Thanks for your reply.

I have just seen that this is in the DNS setup page:

A few more steps are required to complete your setup.Hide

Add an A, AAAA, or CNAME record for www so that www.identykidz.com will resolve.

Add an A, AAAA, or CNAME record for your root domain so that identykidz.com will resolve.

Add an MX record for your root domain so that mail can reach @identykidz.com addresses or set up restrictive SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to prevent email spoofing.

Do I do this on my host side on or Cloudflare. I apologize for all the questions. I am new to Cloudflare.

Thanks again for your help

As the text explains, you need to add records for the domain root and www subdomain in Cloudflare pointing to the IP address where the site is hosted.

If you have email on the domain, you’ll want to add the MX records also otherwise it won’t work. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are all optional though highly recommended.

How long does it usually take to resolve once the information was added?

This can vary from minutes to hours. However, I can access identykidz.com and www.identykidz.com now however there is a certificate error.
