Hello, my website met the error 522 but I did nothing.
I’m not sure whether it’s because of the adjustments mentioned in that email which ask us to do some action.
If so, how? Help, please.

Error 522 occurs when Cloudflare times out contacting the origin web server. Two different timeouts cause HTTP error 522 depending on when they occur between Cloudflare and the origin web server:
An HTTP 524 error occurs if the origin web server acknowledges ( ACK ) the resource request after the connection has been established, but does not send a timely response.
Resolution
Contact your hosting provider to check the following common causes at your origin web server:
If none of the above leads to a resolution, request the following information from your hosting provider or site administrator before contacting Cloudflare support:
May I ask what is the name of your domain?
Have you tried following the steps from as written in the article from below?:
Have you allowed Cloudflare IP addresses to connect to your new host/origin?
Maybe you need to allow Cloudflare IP addresses to connect to your host/origin server:
IP list can be found here:
How about your application, does it work on a port which is compatible with Cloudflare as follows in the below article:
May I also ask if you have got an SSL certificate for your domain and your sub-domain(s) installed at your host/origin server?
Can you check what have you got selected under SSL tab at Cloudflare dashboard? Is it Full SSL
or something other?
Hello,
Thank you for your help. The domain name is www.patchpets.com
Yes I checked ip addresses. All IP addresses are allowed. And yes I got SSL certification for this domain. I really don’t know where the problem is. Sad
Hi, I have seen this article but thanks!
All ip are allowed. I don’t think there is a load issue. I reckon the packets are still there…
Have no idea…
Hello, can anyone help?
Does anything changes if you Pause Cloudflare for your domain?
Or temporary switch the cloud DNS records to
cloud?
Could you also make me happy by answering my question from above regarding which SSL option you’ve got selected under SSL tab/Settings page at Cloudflare dashboard for your domain?
Moreover, who is your hosting provider? Maybe they blocked something or prevent Cloudflare to connect?
Have you tried writing a ticket and contacting Cloudflare support due to your account and/or domain issue?
Hi, I have to apologize because it may be not the problem from Cloudflare… And I didn’t add my site here yet. I just checked my hosting server. I’m not sure it’s the problem with the server. I’m looking into it.
Okay, firstly try to diagnose a issue with hosting, til then, if any issue appears after you activate Cloudflare, kindly I recommend to check the Community Tutorials and feel free to ask the Cloudflare community for help
