I’ve had a look around using the search, and many topics just close without posting the fix.
So, anyway, my website www.henry-walker.com suddenly landed on a holding page with 123reg. They said that the crash happened because of cloudflare. I don’t know what that means.
Anyway, they got it back online, but now there is no SSL certificate. They said to ask cloudflare to reissue it, but I’m not sure how to action this? They said something about getting a code from cloudflare, and they’ll put it back on for me?
Sorry that I can’t explain a little better. I have added screenshots of the error message here, and what 123reg’s DNS page says. On my cloudflare account, I have SSL set as full (strict).
Hello, thanks for replying. That’s strange, I didn’t do anything at all. How do I go about getting back on the nameservers? Is that something for my hosting company to do?
Thank you. Ok I found the nameservers section in 123reg. I have two boxes there: nameserver 1, and nameserver 2. Have been looking aroundin my cloudflare account to find what these nameservers are, but can’t find them…what’s next? thank you.
I had a problem with my email so the registrar went in and did something in the DNS, they said. I guess that was it.
I added the nia.ns.cloudflare.com and peter.ns.cloudflare.com into the nameservers field. No change yet, but perhaps it takes some time to take hold? Or, should it be instant…
Here is a screenshot of my DNS settings with the host:
