Hi

My site shows “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS” when SSL/TLS encryption mode is “Flexible”

However, it works fine if I set up the encryption mode to “Full”

What should I do?

Not use an insecure encryption mode without encryption.

It should not be Full either, but Full Strict.

The problem is that I have a CNAME and an A record pointing to an external site that only works under “Flexible”

Then you need to fix the server for that as that server is obviously not properly configured.

  1. Change to Full Strict
  2. Pause Cloudflare
  3. Make sure all your records load fine on HTTPS
  4. Once they do, unpause Cloudflare

Thanks. I did that. It runs ok for the main domain, but not for any of its subdomains

You will need to talk to your host to fix the server.
