My site is down about 24hrs after I signed up on a free plan.
What’s going on here? Hope the community can help me.
Thanks.

Did your site work fine on HTTPS before?
Welcome to the Cloudflare Community.
We may able to help, but we need you to help us help you.
Yes. Our site, Bangkok Cat Society was working just fine before I changed the nameservers (before it was Hostgator).
I just checked again and error msg: " This page isn’t working redirected you too many times."
The reason why I signed up for a cdn was because our site was slow. I read that a CDN, would help speed up the site.
Hope the community can help me.
Make sure your encryption mode is Full Strict. Currently, you will have unfortunately an insecure legacy mode, which drops encryption and is why you have the redirection loop.
Is CDN or Cloudflare for developers? I’m not a developer. Just a person trying to maintain a wordpress site. I don’t understand what you mean, “encryption mode is Full Strict. Currently, you will have unfortunately an insecure legacy mode, which drops encryption and is why you have the redirection loop.”
Cloudflare definitely rather is for a technology literate audience. Maybe take a look at developers.cloudflare.com.
You can set the encryption mode at https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/ssl-tls - make sure it is Full Strict.
In any case, for your website. I very much appreciate your project.
Quick summary, the encryption mode defines how your content is sent across the Internet.
Only Full Strict is secure, all other modes are legacy modes which keep your site on an insecure connection, that’s why one should make sure Full Strict is selected.
If I change it to Full strict, our page will start working again?
Did you set Full Strict?
Now it’s showing: Your SSL/TLS encryption mode is Full (strict)
Great, it’s loading fine.
Yes. It’s loading. Thank you.
I asked a colleague who’s using Chrome on a Mac and when he checked our site, it’s slow loading. That was the major reason we decided to get Cloudflare. Thoughts on the very slow loading on his end?
Cloudflare can only cache certain files, but it cannot speed up a generally slow site. You can employ more caching or purchase APO (as you are using Wordpress), but that’s all rather a workaround and it’s best to fix the site itself.
ok. Thank you.
