I just experienced this as well, except I’m not willing to wait 24 hours. I only waited 2.
The message from Cloudflare is not very clear. YOU have to go and add the DNSSEC records to your registrars records. Under the message you should see a DS Record with down arrow. Click on that and it will list out the fields YOU need to fill in on YOUR domain registrars site for your domain.

You are confusing adding DNSSEC with changing nameservers at the registrar. While invalid DNSSEC can prevent the updated nameservers from being recognized, it is not the most common cause of the pending status. People adding NS records in their existing DNS zone at another provider or failing to remove additional nameservers at their registrar are far more common.
You might be right. OP isn’t very descriptive. I misread the limited semblance of a question!
