I received an email informing me that:
The zone: “___.com” in account: “[email protected] 's Account” was deleted by Cloudflare on 2023-04-03T00:40:34.298019Z.
If the zone was deleted by mistake, it can be re-added to reinstate existing configuration of the zone. To learn more, read Why was my domain deleted from Cloudflare?
I did not delete this and I’m not sure if it could have been our past developers or if it was Cloudflare.
Why would this happen and what do I need to do to rectify it?
If the zone (domain) had expired or the name servers have been pointed away from Cloudflare, after a period of time, it will be removed from Cloudflare network.
You can simply add the domain back to Cloudflare as normal and it should repopulate the last known configuration of the domain again.
Please check this documentation on how to onboard a zone on to Cloudflare:
The problem is I don’t know why it was deleted and my old developers are not communicating with me. I am not tech savvy.
