My DNS resolution is not working, how should I handle this?

My account has A and TXT type DNS resolution working fine on one website, but on another website, the TXT record is consistently not being detected. What might be causing this and how should I troubleshoot it?

What is the domain and the TXT record? Can you show a screenshot of your DNS records?

Can you check at the bottom of your DNS page for the 2 Cloudflare nameservers, here…
https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns/records

They should be brett and tess
https://cf.sjr.org.uk/tools/check?f1e6b862d3be469faa49e5d9e21a18f9#dns

Yes, these two DNS servers are the default ones and have not been modified.

Can you try to delete, and then create the TXT record again.

Thank you, I’ll try again. I have tried this before.

It seems to now be working…

dig +short openai.aimedianalyst.com txt
"openai-domain-verification=dv-0YrbJlAC7Hrjs1hUIJdD0Chr"

Could you please tell me where you saw this? The detection website provided above, the TXT type record has not been detected.

That is a console command and its output. You should see the same thing from your computer, as long as it has the dig command.

I obtained identical results using the following online tools:

https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/dig/#TXT/

Now it’s looking better. After seeing SJR’s reply, I tried dnschecker, and it didn’t have any results. Now it does.
