My companies VPN IP is being blocked

Hi, I just created an account and seems like the IP address of the VPN service of the company (I believe an enterprise customer) that I’m currently working for, is getting blocked by several websites. I’m not sure that we have services that abuse the web to get blocked by Cloudflare’s security service, but I would like this issue to be solved

Welcome to the Cloudflare Community. :logodrop:

While visiting a site protected by Cloudflare, error 1020 “Access denied (Error: 1020)” indicates you’ve violated a Firewall Rule. When this happens, you’ll see the error “Access Denied (Error: 1020)” and your request was blocked by the filter based Firewall rule on the site. If you’re the site owner, you can find the requests that was blocked by the Firewall on the Firewall page under the Events menu. See this #CommunityTip for suggestions to avoid this error,

The thing is, I’m not sure if we violated nor abused any website. It’s being seen in most websites, even the ones that we visit for the first time. It’s like, our IP address is being put in some blocked list where it’s being shared across all websites, globally, and then users get blocked when we visit.
Here’s a screenshot from ChatGPT website.

It’s not ideal, possible nor logical for us to talk with every website owner to allowlist our IP address.

I suggest you contact the owner of one such website, including the RayID you see and ask them politely if they could tell you which rule was responsible for blocking you.

If it is indeed a blocklist, you’d have to contact whoever maintains it and see if you can get your IP removed.

@Laudian did a better job at getting more directly to the point. No one at Cloudflare or in the Community can do anything that will change how third-party sites handle your VPN IP address. Each individual site manages their own blocking criteria. Some site operators may elect to block all known VPN sources. Only each individual site will know why you are blocked by their service. They may or may not be willing to discuss your access limitations with you. You will need to contact any such site operators directly.
