My catch-all isn’t working

Hi my email forwarding is all set up but my catch-all isn’t working. I created a separate Google account just for the catch-all so there’s no “duplication errors” but still I’m receiving no emails via the catch all…including the “test” emails I’m sending out just to troubleshoot.

Any advice/help?

Can you share a screenshot of your Email configuration on your Cloudflare dashboard.

What is the name of the domain?

Team Koyer.com

What is the error number?

No error number

What is the error message?

No error message

What is the issue you’re encountering

Not receiving any mail forwarded to my catch-all email

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I double checked and sent a bunch of test emails and they are being forwarded to the correct email address but not being forwarded to the catch-all.

Screenshot of the error

Are you seeing any activity on the Email Routing summary?

Here’s what I see but unfortunately no emails are going to my catch all.

This looks like the emails are successfully processed by Cloudflare.

  • Have you checked your spam folder on gmail
  • Is that gmail account forwarding anywhere afterwards
  • Is there another email address you can test it with

Thanks for sending a TEST email - I received it in the master catch all, so as you mentioned it’s connected but I’m still not having anything received in the “catch all” that’s directly sent to rey@teamkoyer(dot)com or any of the other accounts currently connected

Have you also got other custom addresses configured?

Cloud you share a screenshot of your email routing rules, like the attached.

Absolutely, apologies as I’m on mobile but here’s a screenshot.

Can you confirm what emails are forwarding:

I have sent an email to each, could you confirm if any have arrived (Don’t forget to check spam)

Confirmed emails were received to the forwarding email. But I’m still not seeing those emails in the catch all email (only in each individual email)

Did you not receive the email to contact@
That means that the catch all is working.
It will match any emails received to anything@ if there isn’t a specific rule for a given email.

Have I misunderstood and you want the catch all to go to multiple different emails.

@HenryB I am so sorry for the confusion, I thought the “catch-all” was to give visibility to all the emails sent out to the forwarding emails. Not just catching anything before the [email protected]

So yes the catch-all is working correctly, with that being said I know I can’t duplicate emails to forward to multiple pre-existing emails but is there a way to give our admins visibility to the forwarding emails going to all of our @TeamKoyer emails?

That’s something outside of the scope of what is possible with the routing rules.

While you could do this with workers I think your best option would be to set this up in gmail.

From memory you can go to settings → forwarding and add the other emails that should receive the caught emails from the catch all.
