MXToolBox Shows "Multiple DMARC Records"

For some reason, MXToolBox shows “Multiple DMARC Records” for one of my domains, but I have checked and re-checked my Cloudflare DNS and only one DMARC record is active for that domain. Any thoughts or suggestions for how to resolve this? The other domain that I have setup in Cloudflare DNS (with pretty much identical settings) also only has one DMARC record and looks fine in MXToolBox.

Thanks!

What is the domain?

Thank you!

You definitely have 2 DMARC records…

Can you show a screenshot of your DNS records?

Please see attached.

Thanks for your help figuring this out.

Can you check the 2 Cloudflare nameservers at the bottom of that page.

They should be quinton and rayne.

Hmmm, very odd. Assuming your screenshot is all the records, then something has gone awry.

You could try deleting your existing DMARC record and see if that does anything either then, or when you try to put it back.

Someone else may have an idea, or flag it up for checking.

That is all the records. It is very odd. It’s almost like an old version of the DMARC entry is stuck in there somehow. Is there a way to request Cloudflare to flush the DMARC entries and reload?

In the meantime, I will try deleting it and re-adding it to see if that changes anything.

Deleting and re-adding it (this time using Cloudflare’s new DMARC wizard) seems to have done the trick! Very odd.

Thank you so much for trying to help me troubleshoot the issue!
