I have set my o2switch website to Cloudflare recently, and since i can’t receive any emails on my domain emails.
After talk to o2switch support they tell me to add mx record who point to my cpanel so i have add an mx record mx record with @ and mail/mydomain/fr but when i check if the mx record exist it’s still say : MX Record not found…
Sorry cloudlfare don’t allow me to write link in post
I don’t know what happen and i want to know if someone can help me.
I see an MX record of _dc-mx.dda14cdca925.thomasfds.fr. still being returned along with your new correct mail hostname. This is a synthetic record generated by Cloudflare when the MX record points to a proxied host. I would have expected it to go away once you updated your MX record to use an unproxied hostname. You may want to check for any extra MX record and remove it if found. If you still see the synthetic MX hostname, you might try removing all MX records for at least 5 minutes and then add back only your new DNS Only hostname.
That message is from your o2switch mail server, and the error is letting you know that you will need to use a username and password in your outgoing email settings. Be sure that you use TLS on any connections where you send credentials.
Sorry i don’t have read when i have write about error 550, it’s when i try to receive an email send from another email, exemple i try to send email from [email protected] to [email protected] and i got the errror 550.
