I cannot add MX records so my email is broken. I need to remove a MX record, but am told “This record was generated by Cloudflare. It can be removed by disabling Email Routing on your domain.” When I go to email routing, the only option to remove this is “disabling” and clicking it does nothing. The MX records are locked, with no way to unlock them.
Start by disabling Cloudflare Email Routing here:

i can’t do this, that’s what i’m having trouble with. clicking the … to disable just says “disabling”
Is that on the domain (the one that matches the zone name in Cloudflare), such as e.g. example.com
, or on a sub-domain, e.g. test.example.com
?
And if the former, do you have any sub-domains activated for Email Routing?
I’m having the same issue. I cannot seem to unlock the MX records. The name matches the zone name in Cloudflare (not a sub-domain).
