Mx record setting issue

i set mx record below 10 auto DNS ONLY

but ‘export DNS record’ is shown me below 1 IN MX 10

even delete or edit is not changed status and mail is not delivering.
any other way for help???

Your host name should likely be @ not

Host @ - Mail Server name

As it stands now you’ve configured an MX record to receive mail for [email protected] which is probably not what you wanted.

Hi there @valleycrow!

Take a look at your DNS records.

You have a CNAME wildcard * that could be causing issues here.

To me, it’s seems like when requests are made to the mail server, the CNAME wildcard is being triggered and redirecting to the incorrect target server. Unless you have your mail server and website on the machine, this may be worth investigating.

Hello, just simply change the record from “DNS only” to “Proxied” the DNS page looks like this

Steps to change DNS record from DNS only to Proxied

  1. Log in to your cloudflare account
  2. Select the domain you want to change the DNS record for
  3. Click “DNS”
  4. Click “Edit”
  5. Click “DNS only” on the record you want to edit (it should change to proxied)
  6. Click “Save”
Then success! It should have changed the record and that record will now be proxied through cloudflare. If you need more help let me know!
