MX Record from EasySpace

Hello. I’m here because my email forwarding doesn’t work. I’m with Easyspace but their support team said i should contact Cloudflare as the MX record needs to be added by them. I’ve no idea who Cloudflare is, they appear to not have a support option i can email and have never signed into an agreement with them. What should I do please?

What is your domain?

If your domain is being managed in a Cloudflare account, someone with access to your domain registrar will have set this up for you.

dezbruce.com

Your site has been configured to use Cloudflare nameservers since 2024-04-07 according to securitytrails.com.

To log into your Cloudflare account to make changes you’ll need to find out who set this up for you on that date.

Otherwise you can take control of your DNS by changing the nameservers at your registrar.

Thank you. Looks like people called Samara and Jacob. No idea what i can do now though. I only have an account with EasySpace. Have i been hijacked?

Are you able to log in to your domain registrar and change your nameservers back to what they were before?

You mean these Samara and Jacob?

dig @8.8.8.8 +short NS dezbruce.com
jacob.ns.cloudflare.com.
samara.ns.cloudflare.com.

Those are random nameserver names assigned by Cloudflare, and are not the names of the person(s) who added the domain to Cloudflare.

I’ve clicked on a " set to default" which has changed them to ns1.namecity.com
