Multiple dmarc

I received this in Aweber I added a entry but this error shows up, how do i fix it?

Multiple DMARC records found for the domain. Please remove DMARC records that are not in use or merge them into a single record.

Remove one of the two _dmarc record(s) for your domain name.

Which one to remove may depend on their actual content.

If you use any specific DMARC service to parse DMARC reports for you, you would then have to look in the DMARC record, to figure out which one of the record(s) that are sending the reports their way, and then remove the other one that doesn’t.

You do indeed have two different _dmarc records for that domain name.

Find the type TXT records, with name _dmarc, with the following two contents:

  1. β€œv=DMARC1; p=none; pct=100; rua=mailto:[email protected];”

  2. β€œv=DMARC1;p=none;sp=none;adkim=r;aspf=r;pct=100;fo=0;rf=afrf;ri=86400”

The fbl.optin.com one (#1) is listed in the help articles at aweber.com, however, as the β€œpct=100;” part they are listing is useless here, as it is the default value if omitted from the record, so you can actually remove that part from the record.

If AWeber (and that fbl.optin.com record) is actually giving you an overview of your DMARC report(s), I would therefore suggest removing the second one.

Thank you so much for the input. So you are saying delete the entire DMARC with pct100? and I should be good to go?

I’ll remove the entire 2. DMARC as 1. DMARC is for Aweber, thanks for the help
