Hello,

I am hosting my website on a VDS server with CloudPanel. On the same server, I installed the EMQX MQTT broker, which uses the following ports:

TCP: 1883
SSL: 8883
My goal is to establish an MQTT connection via the subdomain mqtt.tamesh.org, using the address mqtt://mqtt.tamesh.org. I have added the DNS record, but I couldn’t get it to work. What steps should I take to resolve this issue? I’d appreciate your assistance.

Your DNS setup looks good, so your problem is most likely with the application you are setting up.

It’s not impossible, but I doubt you’ll find any support for that particular software in this forum.

From a quick check, I noticed that I could successfully establish a TCP connection to your domain on port 1883, but not on port 8883. You’ll want to check whether there’s actually a listener on that port.

It worked when I closed the firewall on the server and opened the port again, problem solved
