I deleted the A and AAAA records from this domain name and then put in the new A and CNAMEs. Over 24 hours have passed and it is still reflecting the old IP.
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
I see your root domain (brownandbudnicks.com) and www subdomain are proxied . Proxied records are always going to return Cloudflare IPs (172.67.135.197,104.21.7.52 in this case), and they aren’t going to change even if you modify the records behind them as long as they remain proxied. It’s just that after the traffic goes to Cloudflare, Cloudflare would then route to to the IPs/records you update it to, but that isn’t visible externally.
That old DNS record has been deleted and the other agency that had created it refuses to do anything because they lost the business. I deleted the old record. How can I shift it to un proxied if I deleted it? My new A record and CNAME are not proxied.
I added the deleted ones back in from the info I found on the audit log and then edited the proxy to grey and then deleted them again and added the new info. So far it is still pointing to the old AAAA record but hopefully that will clear.
