Moving to new server

Hi Community.

I just moved my site to a new server w/ a new IP address. My DNS is being handled by my registrar, Namecheap. I updated the DNS on Namecheap to reflect the new server address, and left the custom routing to Cloudflare the same (cris.ns.cloudflare.com, suzanne.ns.cloudflare.com) My question is will Cloudflare eventually pick up the proper IP/DNS information automatically from my Namecheap or do I need to go into the DNS management tab on Cloudflare and manually change all the A records?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @geeksofdoomstaff,

Cloudflare performs an initial scan when you add a domain. If the domain is already in Cloudflare, you will need to import the DNS records.

Take a look at these Support pages:

I hope it helps!
