Moving subdomain service to Cloudflare DNS

What is the issue you’re encountering

I am an administrator of the is-a.dev project (is-a.dev · GitHub), we are looking at possibly moving to Cloudflare for our DNS instead of using our current CPanel setup which can be unreliable. However, we have over 5,000 DNS records, which exceeds all of Cloudflare’s plans. We do not have the funding to afford an enterprise plan either, as we are simply an open source project. It would be good if Cloudflare could give us an increased record limit, similar to what they have done with JS.ORG in the past.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I did attempt to contact Cloudflare’s enterprise sales team a few months ago, however received no response.

Enterprise Sales shouldn’t be the right place for this. Asking people trying to make their sales quota to give you a freebie isn’t going to get you far :smiley:

Instead, make an OSS Sponsorship request: https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/lp/oss-sponsorship/

Be sure to make your specific requirement very clear in the application, as the default OSS Sponsorship offer is a PRO plan.
