Moving domain to a new host

I have recently bought a business and associated company domain. My search indicates that it is hosted by Cloudflare. I wish to transfer hosting to a new provider. Can anyone help me do this?

There is a High Chance that Cloudflare not really is the Host of the Website. The Website probably uses Cloudflare as its CDN and Protection Service. You could change the IP Adresses in the Cloudflare Account where the Domain is active to change the Host in the Background and keep using Cloudflare Services or you simply change the Nameservers in the Domain to Nameservers of your Host or something like this and add the needed Records there

Welcome to the Cloudflare Community. :logodrop:

It is unlikely that Cloudflare is your site’s webhost. Cloudflare provides security and performance enhancements via a proxy service that sits between visitors and the site’s webserver.

Your best option to obtain hosting details is thing to be from the person who sold you the business. You will likely benefit from the assistance of an experienced business technology consultant who can help you make sure that you obtain all of the necessary information from the seller.

If you have access to relevant email account you may be able to recover Cloudflare account access. For security and privacy reasons Cloudflare will never disclose account details.

The only way you’ll be able to regain access is by having access to the email address of the account.

Thanks so much for the quick replies To understand that Cloudflare is unlikely to be the host of the website has been useful. I will try the links suggested to log into the account.
