I have an existing website with my own domain. I am planning on moving my DNS records to Cloudflare. If I go through the process to adding my domain to Cloudflare DNS and it attempts to gather my DNS records, does this have any effect on my existing DNS configuration, or is nothing changed until I change the name servers with my domain registrar?
The process of gathering existing DNS records have no impact on existing DNS configuration. The Cloudflare DNS records will only be active after the nameservers are updated at your domain registrar and verified by Cloudflare.
