Is it possible to remove the DNS Management outisde of Cloudflare? I want to be able to completly manage the DNS of my domain in the registar which I used to register my domain (Gandi).
How can I do this? Can I just do it from my Gandi account? Do I have to make changes in the Cloudflare account? I am using a FREE account, do I need to upgrade to another plan?
Thanks a lot Sandro. So, what if I have the following scenario?
There is a domain that I own in Gandi, and the DNS Mgmt and CDN feature is under account A. I don’t have access to the account because it belongs to a 3rd party I don’t make business with anymore. So, what documentation/approval do I need to get that domain’s DNS Mgmt and CDN features, transfered to an account I own? Do I need to contact them in order for them to transfer everything to my account inside Cloudflare?
The article I posted has all the information. If you don’t have access to the Cloudflare account you will first need to add the domain to your own account and then upgrade to Business.
The article indicates how to set up the scenario of leaving the CDN in Cloudflare and taking the DNS management outside.
My question is: is it possible to transfer between 2 Cloudflare accounts the DNS Management of a domain and the CDN feature associated to it? In account A the DNS management and the CDN feature are active and I want that to be transfered to account B. How can I achieve that? Is it possible without the involvement of account A?
For context, the domain is registered outside of Cloudflare.
That was your question, right? How to use Cloudflare without the DNS service.
This is addressed by mentioned article. If you have a different question, please open another thread, as we should not mix issues. Respectively, I would also recommend to use the search, as I am sure your question will be answered there as well.
