Moved site to cloudflare, need to delete old content - no host

What is the name of the domain?

soulclix.com

What is the issue you’re encountering

I want to delete content from a website that I recently moved to cloudflare. I was not aware that it had content until after I moved it. site was never hosted.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’ve done a lot of web searching. No joy.

I’m probably missing something obvious. I usually log into the cpanel with filezilla when I edit a website, but I don’t have log in info for this site. Any help out there?

By “content” do you mean the Namesilo page? Your site is being redirected there, maybe you have entered a DNS record that points at one of their IP addresses while not having a site set up with them?

Yes. I assumed that the redirect would be done by some kind of index page. That’s why I was calling it content. When I moved the site to cloudflare, I entered the two DNS servers that cloudflare gave me. I thought that I had double checked the DNS, but thanks to your tip, I found something I hadn’t seen before.

Under “DNS management for soulclix.com
CNAME www parking.namesilo.com Proxied Auto Edit”

I don’t seem to be able to include an image, but the above wording is what I found.
I’m not knowledgeable about this, but apparently I can edit it. What I don’t know is if I should delete it or put something else in it’s place. I don’t want to break anything.

That link is a great tool. Thanks for that.

Am I right about editing the CNAME? Any help would be appreciated.

You would need to remove that record and point it at wherever you are hosting your website. If unsure, check with your web host what records to use.

I’m not currently hosting the site anywhere. Can I just leave it blank?
