Is it possible to convert from the CNAME setup to the Full DNS setup? Is there a Help Center article outlining how to go about this?
I have the same question. Need to point DNS to Cloudfare, but Cloudfare DNS names need to be customized.
There supposed to be Cloudfare DNS options at Overview page, but there isn’t in mine.

LMK if it addresses your question, this line left me wondering if you need partner assistance, “Partners can control whether or not to enable Full DNS zone setup for their customers. Please note that CNAME setup cannot be disabled.”
Thank you for the reply. That kind of makes sense, as Cloudfare cPanel directs user back to original host.
I contacted the support at the original host, they told me that they couldn’t enable it because I have a shared hosting account. I don’t know if that’s true or they just wanted me to upgrade my hosting plan?

You can always add the site to Cloudflare by adding it directly to your Cloudflare account from the Cloudflare dashboard and then changing your namesevers with your registrar. Is that an option?

However, now I have a different issue. I changed DNS to point to Cloudfare and the website cannot be pulled up. The error is “Safari can’t find the website server”. Is it due to the change of DNS due to propagation?
That sounds like an issue with DNS records or propagation. Can you share the domain name?
Thanks for all the responses. It looks as if the only way to achieve this is to delete the Domain from Cloudflare (either via the Cloudflare dashboard or cPanel), and then add it again selecting the Full DNS Setup. I was hoping to avoid this, but so be it…
Site loads for me (lots of errors and not secure, but loads). Try from an incognito browser and/or clear browser cache.
Tried it. Problems persists.
