MISS on Request Served via Subdomain

I have a subdomain (e.g. subdomain.domain.com) that isn’t set up w/i Cloudflare. Request to the domain (i.e. www.domain.com) which is set up in Cloudflare results in a MISS.

I’m assuming this is because the request is being made via the sudomain. Can anyone provided further details?

Also, what are the steps required in order to successfully cache this request from the subdomain? And am I able to do that on a business account?

Thanks!

A URL called from a subdomain shouldn’t affect cache status.

If it’s a MISS, then subsequent called will begin showing a HIT.

If you need more assistance, please post the actual URL of the resource in question.

Hey, @sdayman - sure thing : )

Request is to https://www.clio.com/wp-content/themes/clio/assets/js/attribution.min.js?v=1612216468359 on https://account.clio.com/.

Subsequent requests continue to show MISS in cf-cache-status header.

What am I missing? : )

Oh wait - I think I realized what’s happening. The query string at the end is changing and busting the cache each time. Ooops
