I am trying to allow players to enter gunscraft.evanokeefe.com and get redirected to 147.185.221.24:48812, but minecraft says Connection Reset

Can you try and use the standard port 25565 instead?
Are you port forwarding this at your home router or?
To which IP address is the Minecraft server bound?

Despite as it seems it’s okay:

$ dig +short _minecraft._tcp.gunscraft.evanokeefe.com srv
10 0 48812 gunscraft.evanokeefe.com.

However, seems like your IP address is a local one instead of a public IP address?

$ dig +short gunscraft.evanokeefe.com
127.127.0.1

I am using a service called playit.gg. They auto generate a domain for you to use to connect (wednesday-knife.gl.joinmc.link). I think if I use the IP above it also works. Is there maybe a way to just make gunscraft.evanookefe.com redirect to wednesday-knife.gl.joinmc.link?
