Migrating from proxied A record to unproxied CNAME results in Error 1034

When updating the DNS record to move our hosting from wordpress (proxied A) to hubspot (unproxied CNAME) we run into Error 1034.

The old www record was an A record pointing to a wordpress IP address with :orange: which I deleted. I then created a new CNAME record pointing to the specified hubspot CNAME provided by them with DNS only :grey: . This resulted in our domains returning a Cloudflare error page displaying error 1034.

HubSpot support said everything in our setup looked okay on their end and they believe it to be a Cloudflare issue.

If there were multiple A records, did you delete them all? If there were also AAAA records, did you delete them as well? What’s the domain?
