Massive Issue With Bots + Recommended Steps?

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

I’ve created somewhat of a mess, and have no idea what needs to be fixed. But the main issue I’m having is since I rerouted my website from Namecheap to Cloudflare, I’ve seen an insane amount of bots visiting the website, like hundreds a day. I am running ads, so it happens from that. But this never happened before switching to Cloudflare. I am using Go High Level funnel sofrware. People were not getting my emails, so the person whos’ account I’m under suggested I switch to Cloudflare. They claimed they configured everything correctly. However, now I’m seeing hundreds of bots a day! The website is active and live. However I also see this message (also attached) and I’m wondering if that has anything to do with the bots, if maybe there’s another step missing. The person who set everything up said there was nothing else left to do. This is what I’m seeing I’m having a massive issue with hundreds of bots visiting the site from Facebook. I’m using Go High Level and recently changed connected cloudflare to my Go High Level account. As soon as I did that, I started seeing hundreds of bots a day from facebook. This didn’t happen before I used Cloudflare. I was using Namecheap. I added Cloudflare because people said they weren’t getting my emails. But now I have no idea if everything has been connected correctly. My website shows as live on Cloudflare and its active, when you visit. However, I’m wondering if maybe a step was missing when everything was set up, because as soon as it was connected to Cloudflare, that’s when all of the hundreds of bots started showing up. I also see that I have “recommended steps”

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have turned on bot protection on cloudflare. I have also blocked certain countries from seeing my ads on both cloudflare and facebook

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Seeing them where exactly?
3rd-party service, log files on the server, Cloudflare Security Events?
Maybe you’ve had them since before but didn’t paid enough attention?

Maybe you have to implement a way to get back the real visitor IP in your server log files since using Cloudflare:

Wonder what kind of a setup did you used?
GHL is known to have O2O setup as follows:

How to propperly setup DNS record related to the email while using Cloudflare:

Where?
You should be able to see the challenged or blocked event under the Security tab → Events at Cloudflare dashboard for your zone and know exactly which security option was triggered.

Once you find them, click on a particular one to find more details about it (user-agent, IP, HTTP version …). If yes, could you share some details which service was triggered that blocked you?

Obviously a lot of links shared to your Website on Facebook, therefrom the Facebook scrapper visiting them to re-scrape the information.

Might want to create a Rate Limiting rule to lower those while still keeping the normal traffic:

They’re showing as initiate check outs and I can also see them on Microsoft Clarity. I don’t see anything under the events tab. I’m unable to see where they’re coming from because it’s the initiate checkouts.

Im not very technologically savvy so I’ll have to research the other things you’ve mentioned.
