Wondering if there is a way to restrict what members can see, for example i want to invite a web developer in to have access to the DNS records for only 1 domain.

No, unless you put the domain in a separate account, any granted access will be for all domains in the account.
If they only need to edit DNS records, you could create a scoped API token for them to use rather than the dashboard.
