Magento Admin Pages Only Load On Second Attempt

What is the issue you’re encountering

There is no response from cloudflare the first time a url is requested. Second time the url loads fine. We are using firefox.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Looked through Cloudflare forums but I didn’t find anything useful. I saw some old posts saying to turnoff rocket loader, but this was already turned off. I confirmed that there is no response from Cloudflare the first time a page is requested using the browser developer tools but there is a response the second time it is requested.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Turn cloudflare on. Login in to Magento backend. Go to the Inventory Managment page. There is no response first time. Go to the Inventory Managment page again. The page loads fine. Similarly with the other admin pages.

Update: It looks like this only happens on Firefox.

I cannot reproduce on my end. Maybe it was the cache? :thinking:

I am afraid we cannot test this.

A quick update…the problem seemed to be due to AVG antivirus. Even when AVG was turned off we still had the issue but once we uninstalled AVG everything worked as expected.
