MacBook unable to connect to internal server web gui. Windows can connect to it

What is the name of the domain?

192.168.1.xxx:port

What is the error number?

ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

What is the issue you’re encountering

I recently added an internal server that needs the special port added to the url to connect to its web GUI. It is working with warp and can now access it with a windows machine. I’m currently trying to access it on a non-domain joined MacBook (Sequoia 15.4). Both computers or using the same profile and the same user logged in.I also am not a Mac user so I know very little about the settings on it, I suspect it may be a DNS thing on the MacBook but cant verify it.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Ran nmap, ping, nslookup to ensure it is hitting the same warp dns that the windows machine is. This also verified that it does see the device and the open port. verified rules and setting in Cloudflare Zero Trust dashboard. Tested on other MacBooks with both Chrome and Safari.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

attempting to go to the web gui on the MacBook

For anyone that has an issue like this. I was able to fix it by turning off the firewall rule in the network settings on the zero trust dashboard.
