Lost access to manage domain

I have the same situation (nearly) as this issue

In our case the person who set up the domain originally has passed away, no one knows anything about what email or account was used.

The domain is amrcce.com.au and our DNS records are on Synergy (another company that everyone involved hadn’t heard of nor has an account for).

Any guidance about how to untangle these sorts of issues would be helpful.

Aa the topic that you linked explains, if you don’t have access to the Cloudflare account you will need to start over with a new one. Synergy is your domain registrar. If you don’t have access to an account there, that is where you will need to start.
