What is the issue you’re encountering
I hired a technician to manage my website’s DNS settings, and they set up a Cloudflare account for this purpose. Unfortunately, I’ve since lost contact with this technician, and I do not have access to the account he created.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I’m in a challenging situation and could really use some advice or guidance. Here’s the background:
A few years ago, I hired a technician to manage my website’s DNS settings, and they set up a Cloudflare account for this purpose. Unfortunately, I’ve since lost contact with this technician, and I do not have access to the account he created.
The website’s domain is registered in my name through a reputable registrar, and I can provide proof of ownership. However, the DNS settings are managed through Cloudflare, and I urgently need access to make some updates.
I’ve already contacted Cloudflare support, but I was told to log in using the email address associated with the original account. Since I don’t have access to that account, I’m stuck in a loop. I’ve also created a new Cloudflare account to try to resolve this issue, but the problem persists.
I completely understand and respect Cloudflare’s security protocols, but I’m looking for a way to prove my ownership of the domain and regain control of the DNS settings. I can provide:
Proof of domain ownership from my registrar.
Historical data showing that I am the legitimate owner and operator of the website.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you manage to resolve it? I’m open to any advice or suggestions to move forward.
Thank you for taking the time to read this! I appreciate any help you can offer.

Her er hvordan du kan svare på “What are the steps to reproduce the issue?” for situasjonen din:
Original Account Setup: A technician set up my website’s DNS management on Cloudflare years ago using an account I do not have access to.
Lost Contact: I lost contact with the technician and never received the account credentials.
Created a New Account: To resolve the issue, I created a new Cloudflare account with my email.
Contacted Support: I contacted Cloudflare support, explaining the situation and providing proof of domain ownership (e.g., domain registrar details).
Support Response: Support advised that I log in using the email tied to the original account, which is no longer accessible.
Stuck in a Loop: Without access to the original account, I’m unable to manage the DNS settings for my domain, leaving me unable to make necessary updates.
