Load Balancing Subscription - with "DNS Only"?

Is it required to use “Proxied” for my dns records? I use “DNS only” because i have hi-load video traffic.
I know about DNS Round-Robin free feature but i want to try Load Balancing Subscription and i’am not ready switch my records to “Proxied”.

You cannot use any Cloudflare features if your users aren’t sending their requests to Cloudflare.

So yes, changing from DNS only to proxied is a requirement.

Geo-steering, load shedding and some other features still work when the Load Balancer is set to DNS-only. But some features, like session affinity and failover, won’t work.

Load Balancing will be less effective though due to catching and shared recursive resolvers.
