Load balancer session affinity by cookie and IP fallback is not always working

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

We have a load balancer with 1 pool, 2 origins, configured with session affinity by Cloudflare cookie an Client IP fallback.

In the last two days (Nov-26-2024 and Nov-27-2024) we have seen failures in session affinity, as the same user is forwarded to the two origins randomly, without any stickyness.

The same problem was observed and reported and corrected in feb.2022:

Now, it is reproduced again.

We also have/had the same issues today. Still nothing heard from Cloudflare. We had to reduce our pools and have slower performance for users now because the users get random hosts on each requests while the _cflb cookie has not changed on client side.

@dev148 Has someon from cloudflare reached you? Everywhere i text. Also on Twitter => but not contact. No help :confused:

@Complex , nothing. No answer. Cloudflare tickets system is also broken so very difficult to get any support.
Also very difficult to check if it is solved.
