Link my new domain name to Searchie

Hi everyone,

So, there was a tutorial but I didn’t think in the right order, and anyway… I purchased a new domain name for my Searchie hub as I don’t want it to be on my website BUT I can’t figure out how to link my hub and my domain name.

Might seem simple but my eyes are crossing so I thought I’d ask for some help :slight_smile:

Does the hub have an IP address that you can use as the value for a DNS A record?

Is the hub a service that you can point to using a CNAME, https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/dns/dns-records/dns-cname-record/?

I’ve been through it and it doesn’t make sense to me. But I’ll try to give Searchie support a call, thanks

What step in that guide is giving you trouble?

Can you share your domain here using </>Preformatted text so we can see what you have published in your DNS?
