Link header is ignored, not pushed?

#1

I’ve found blog posts saying cloudflare will use link headers to push resources.

Assume my site is hosted at https://example.com, I write what I believe to be a valid link header:
Link: <https://static.example.com/images/example.png>; rel=preload; as=image

Yet this header is simply forwarded to the client instead of being pushed. What’s wrong?

According to this blog post, “Only relative links will be pushed…”

That’s a rather strange limitation. I think there are many people who have their static files on a subdomain, or even a different server entirely. Any chance this could be changed to allow subdomains as long as those also go through cloudflare?
