Large spike to /cdn-cgi/script_monitor/report endpoint

Hello,

We recently received a large spike in requests on March 16th to the cdn-cgi/script_monitor/report endpoint. Within a 15 minute period it jumped from 0 requests to 21.53K requests.

A few questions:

  1. What is the purpose of this endpoint?
  2. What would cause this happen?
  3. Can you confirm that this endpoint doesn’t hit the origin server?
