Kinsta says my domain has a cloudflare dns zone. How do I get rid of it?

I am setting up my domain handmadearcade.org with kinsta.com. Before I was able to point my domain to them I get the following error:

We’ve detected that your domain handmadearcade.org may have an existing DNS zone at Cloudflare. Until the Cloudflare DNS is removed, you may experience problems using the domain. Contact Cloudflare support to have the DNS zone removed

I have created this account and filed a support ticket with Cloudflare, but in the meantime is there anything else I can do? Are there any tools that can verify that there actually is a dns zone with Cloudflare?

I ran a dig, and it seems to indicate that no record for handmadearcade.org exists in Cloudflare’s dns.

dig A @ns.cloudflare.com handmadearcade.org
