You should secure your origin so that you only allow requests from Cloudflare IPs.

Start with this 4 minute read. It should give you some ideas. If the server only hosts Cloudflare proxied websites, the firewall option is hard to beat. Authenticated Origin Pulls with your own certificate are also quite reliable.
