Most people purchase domains primarily for a website (and sometimes email). To have a website, you need a hosting service. While most domain registrars also offer hosting service, the two are distinct services and are paid separately (even if from the same provider).
Cloudflare doesn’t offer this hosting service (at least not the type that people who are not coders can use).
So to answer your question, let’s circle back to the question I asked earlier. If you desire to set up a website, you need to purchase a hosting or website builder service from elsewhere.
Tell that provider you have an existing domain you’d like to use, and they’ll give you the specific DNS information that you’ll add to your Cloudflare DNS screen to connect your domain to that hosting service or website builder.
By the way (and a biggie):
You purchased your domain gr8generalservices.com on September 11, 2023 for a year and it expired on September 11, 2024. Expired domains go through various stages of grace periods, giving you more time to renew the domain if you want to.
Your domain is currently in what is called redemptionPeriod or Redemption Grace Period. This is the last stage that you can redeem or recover the domain – before it gets deleted completely and becomes available again for you and anyone else to re-register it.
Redemption comes with a fee, on top of the usual annual renewal fee. Cloudflare does not control and cannot waive this redemption fee.
If this domain is for your business’s brand name, I recommend paying the redemption fee to restore it, as there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to purchase it when it gets deleted.
